Over the years many Foundation friends have remembered
Winter Haven Hospital, the Regency Medical Center and Mid-Florida Medical
Services in their wills, trusts, and estate plans. To honor these
commitments, the Foundation recognizes these special friends through the
Legacy Society.
By naming the Foundation in their wills, trusts or
estate plans, these outstanding philanthropists and community leaders
create a legacy of quality healthcare for the communities and patients we
serve for years to come.
All benefactors who document a bequest or an estate
provision for the benefit of our organization’s mission are
recognized in the Legacy Society. Individuals whose provisions total
$100,000 or more will be recognized as a distinguished member in the Legacy
Society Chairman’s Circle. Donors wishing to remain anonymous also
qualify for membership by checking this item on the application form.
Bequest, trust and estate plan designations may be
created for “unrestricted” use (ie. for the Foundation’s
Annual Fund) or for a designated “restricted” purpose (ie.
specific cause, facility, area, or department of our organization).
For example gifts can be designated to help support:
The Foundation Healthcare Scholarship Fund
Regency Medical Center Women and Newborn
Services
Winter Haven Hospital Cardiovascular Services
Winter Haven Hospital Cancer Program
Winter Haven Hospital Emergency Services
Winter Haven Hospital Children’s Services
Or one of Winter Haven Hospital/Mid-Florida
Medical Services’s many other service areas
Gifts such as these allow benefactors to name their
gift after a loved one, to carry their own name or to honor/memorialize
someone they respect if they wish.
To be recognized in the Legacy Society, please provide
the Foundation with either a copy of the specific provision that reflects
your will, trust or estate commitment for the benefit of the Foundation, or
download and complete the attached application form.
If you are considering a specific designation for your
gift or want to discuss other gift options, Foundation staff will be happy
to work with you and your advisor to ensure your wishes are carried out.
