Center for Behavioral Health

The Center for Behavioral Health, Winter Haven Hospital, offers a variety of behavioral health services to individuals of all ages throughout Polk, Highlands and Hardee Counties. Outpatient case management services are offered in Winter Haven and Sebring. Day treatment / partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs are available for children and adolescents in Polk County. The Center for Behavioral Health has licensed clinicians who provide individual, family and group therapy, Psychiatric services, as well as case management, Peer Recovery Program, and services to assist individuals in obtaining housing and employment.

Multi-disciplinary clinical staff provides individual, family, and group therapy, as well as Psychiatric services and medication, case management, Peer Recovery Program, and supportive housing and supportive employment.

Most third party insurance payers are accepted as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Services are available Monday-Friday in our Winter Haven and Sebring locations.

To access Adult Outpatient Services at the Center for Behavioral Health, call 863.297.1702. An appointment time can be given for the next day. If a time is not available, individuals may come in and wait for any available opening that same day. If more lead time is needed to make an appointment, call the day before you are able to come in.

To make an appointment at Children's Outpatient Services, call 863.294.7062. An appointment will be given for the next available opening.

In the case of an immediate mental health crisis, ACCESS Services can be called at 800.723.3248. They are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week and can facilitate referrals to the most appropriate service based on their assessment.
