The Vascular Access Services (VAS) Team is comprised of registered nurses who provide services to patients and the nursing staff.

The VAS team inserts PICC’s, does PICC dressing changes, teaches many IV classes for the nursing staff and performs difficult venipuncture for patients. The hours for Vascular Access Services are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.

All VAS team members are PICC certified.
