From Pregnancy to Parenthood

First Impressions Maternity Club

A free club for expectant parents offering timely information and special benefits. Includes monthly newsletters during your pregnancy and baby’s first years.

Prenatal Yoga

All poses are adjusted to your level. Will include:
gentle stretching, muscle strengthening, breath work and different forms of relaxation.

Cost: $5 per class

Cesarean Birth

For those anticipating a cesarean birth, this class covers what to expect before, during, and after the C/Section, and includes a facility tour.

Cost: Free

Birth Preparation Workshop*

A 4 week series focusing on physical and mental preparation for birth and early postpartum. Includes discussion about labor and delivery, pain relief in childbirth, relaxation and breathing, and cesarean birth. Classes fill quickly so register by the fifth month of pregnancy. New classes start every month.

Cost: $40 Regency patients. $60 others.

Birth Preparation Condensed-One Day*

This Saturday class covers the content of the birth preparation course in one day. Includes a break for lunch (on your own).

Cost: $50 Regency patients. $70 others.

Online Childbirth Education

Take a childbirth class in the comfort of your home. Ideal for moms on bed rest, tight schedules, or just needing a refresher. 30 day use from the start date, and access to educator for questions.

Cost: $60.

Preparation for Breastfeeding*

This class, taught by a Lactation Consultant, will help expectant parents learn ways to get the breastfeeding experience off to the best start.

Cost: $15 Regency patients. $30 others.

Breastfeeding Part 2*

Out and About Class for breastfeeding moms.This class will focus on breast pumps, milk storage information, discreet nursing in public, back to work issues and breastfeeding and the law.

Cost: $15 Regency patients. $30 others.

Early Parenting

Big Brother / Big Sister

Topics include what babies are like, what it means to be a big brother or sister, how to be a helper at home. Includes movie, refreshments and nursery tour.

Cost: Free.

Infant CPR and Safety

Learn how to handle common emergencies, perform CPR and choking for the infant, and safety proof your home.

Cost: $15 per person.

Grand is Grand

Having a grandchild is so exciting! Get prepared by joining other new and expecting grandparents in learning about current trends in childbirth and baby care.

Cost: $10 per family.

The Happiest Baby on the Block class™

Learn the “calming reflex” and the off switch for baby’s crying. A must for every parent!

Cost: $20 per family (includes Parent Kit-DVD and soothing sounds CD- $40 value)

Babysitting Training

For young people 11-14, Learn how to be a responsible babysitter. Includes activities for different ages, handling emergencies, the importance of safety, and how to set up the job.

Cost: $30, bring a bag lunch; drinks provided.

First Months Club for New Parents

Informal weekly meetings for parents and babies age newborn—2 years. Opportunity to meet other parents, share and learn about parenting.

Speakers Bureau

Offers programs on women’s & infant health for community and business groups, professional organizations, and industry.

Car Seat Assistance

Car seat installation assistance and education by certified child passenger safety technicians.
