Under the leadership of world renowned surgeon Dr. Sijo Parekattil, Winter Haven Hospital has established its newest Centers of Excellence: the Center for Urology and the Robotics Institute. Dr. Parekattil brings a national and international reputation built on outstanding patient outcomes, research, education and collaboration. We are excited to welcome him to the Winter Haven Hospital family.

The Winter Haven Hospital Foundation Gala has evolved to become Polk County’s signature black-tie social event. Led by visionary Foundation Trustees Lynn Oakley, Dorothy Griffin, Cindy Henry and Bet Tucker, the event is one of the largest fundraisers in central Florida. While the Gala with all of its glamour and “who’s who” list of attendees is fun and entertaining, it is also of great strategic importance to Winter Haven Hospital and its not-for-profit patient care mission.
