* 1542 patients admitted with chest pain due to heart disease

* 40% of these (~600) were heart attack victims!

* 1600+ heart catheterizations performed

* 359 patients transferred out for angioplasty (PTCA)

* 257 patients transferred out for bypass surgery

* 44 patients transferred out for treatment of valve disease

*Note: These numbers reflect only patients admitted to and transferred from Winter Haven Hospital. They do not include the patients that were transferred directly from the physician's office to a facility for one of the same advanced cardiovascular services.
