Our hospital accommodates medical, surgical, and gynecological patients and staffs a 6-bed intensive care unit. Emergency Department patients are triaged to assure prompt treatment.

The Radiology Department is equipped with state-of-the-art Mammography, Ultrasound and CT equipment. Our 30-member Medical Staff includes doctors qualified in most major specialities. Our consulting staff of specialists provides patients with a diverse range of sub-specialties.

Lake Wales Medical Centers 177-bed newly renovated/redecorated Extended Care Facility (ECF) offers long and short term care to those individuals needing subacute nursing care.
 
Special services include IV, respiratory, physical, speech and occupational therapy, enteral and parenteral nutrition support, tracheostomy care, restorative care, social services, psychologist assisted behavior management programs for demential patients, resident support groups and more. JCAHO accredited.
