Regular Checkups
Part of living well with diabetes means getting regular checkups.

There is no time like the present to review the tests you should be given and how best to manage your condition with your health care professional. How often you need to see members of your health care team depends on your overall health, your blood glucose goals, and any changes that need to be made in your diabetes care plan, says the American Diabetes Association.
Your check up should provide your health care team with all of the following information: your height, weight blood pressure, pulse, eyes, mouth, gums and teeth, neck, heart, abdomen, kidneys, hands, feet, skin and nervous system.
Learn to better manage your diabetes by attending the mini health fair and lecture on November 13. Details regarding the Winter Haven Hospital Health Fair will be forthcoming.
See Lecture information on page 7
