We know our patients achieve great results during their stay
at our inpatient program, the
Joy-Fuller Rehabilitation Center.
How do we know? We use two methods to track what are
known as "outcomes" or results.
One of the key tools we use to track results is our Patient Satisfaction Survey. The survey is given at the point of discharge to all our patients. We utilize the results of the survey to monitor our program, make changes in areas where results indicate change is needed, and, to make sure areas that are consistently rated as favorable, continue to be a part of our program.
Regarding data analysis for the year 2002, the Joy-Fuller Rehabilitation Center is pleased to report that out of a possible score of 5.00, our patients gave us a score of 4.96, indicating our patients would not hesitate to return to our program if needed.
The second major method we use to measure outcomes is "benchmarking" or comparing our program to similar programs nationally. Again, in the year 2002 our program for treatment of brain injuries, stroke, orthopedic problems, and spinal cord injuries rated significantly higher than similar programs, not only regionally, but in the nation as well.
Information obtained from these two research methods tells us we have a very high level of patient satisfaction and our treatment results are well above local and national standards.
We are very proud of these results and of the services the Joy-Fuller Rehabilitation Center provides to our community.
