 On Friday, June 6th at a well attend-
ed reception at Winter Haven Hospital's Ambulatory Surgery and Diagnostic Center, Board of Trustees Chairman, Ron Morrow officially welcomed and introduced our new team of University of Florida E.R. Physicians.
In addition to introducing the new E.R. medical staff, Dr. Kelly Gray-Eurom, Administrative Director, Emergency Services, Shands Jacksonville (who will be providing clinical and management oversight for the E.R.) was welcomed.
 Speaking on behalf of the University of Florida at the reception, Dr. Gray-Eurom said "We are elated to be working with Winter Haven Hospital and we look forward to providing quality care and being active participants in this community."
Acknowledging Dr. Gray-Eurom's comments, Lance Anastasio, President/ CEO, Winter Haven Hospital/Mid-Florida Medical Services, stated "We anticipate as a result of this next step in our growing affiliation with the University of Florida, that a significantly improved level of service and customer satisfaction will be achieved in our emergency services."
 Dr. Gray-Eurom stated, "Our goal is to assure patients receive competent, timely, and compassionate care. We look forward to communicating thoroughly with E.R. patients and keeping family members informed as well." In her comments at the reception Dr. Gray-Eurom emphasized the excellent credentials of each of the physicians that will be working in the Emergency Department and noted how they fit with the high standards required by the University of Florida College of Medicine and Winter Haven Hospital. Dr. Gray-Eurom underscored her comments by stating each of the new physicians was selected from an extensive list of applicants. Following Dr. Gray-Eurom's comments, tours of the Ambulatory Surgery and Diagnostic Center and the Emergency Department were provided for reception guests.
