Jane Seymour to speak at Mid-Florida Medical Services
Foundation
15th Annual Fall Gala
Award winning actress, Jane Seymour has showcased her
talents on the Broadway stage, in motion pictures and on prime time
television, most notably as Dr. Michaela Quinn in Dr. Quinn, Medicine
Woman.
A mother of 6 children, she has dedicated her career to
supporting family friendly programming on T.V. and is an active
philanthropist committed to improving children’s lives all around the
world.
Seymour is the Honorary Chairperson for City Hearts, an
organization that works to enrich the lives of abused children, inner-city
children, and incarcerated delinquent youths, by teaching them about the
performing arts. She is also the Ambassador for Children’s Issues for
the Entertainment Industries Foundation.
Seymour is actively involved with numerous charitable
causes and non-profit organizations including Childhelp USA, UNICEF,
Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the American Red Cross.
An accomplished artist and author, Seymour’s most
recent book, Remarkable Changes: Turning Life’s Challenges into
Opportunities, is about overcoming obstacles in life. The book
includes a foreword by her friend Christopher Reeve.
